Are agents generally willing to show a house posted ... - Zillow Real ...

I will show definitely FSBOs if they meet the Buyer's purchase criteria and if I have a written Buyer Agency agreement. I may require that the FSBO provide me with a one time showing agreement detailing the terms and conditions, should I negotiate a successful transaction.

Unfortunately, in today's short sale market, Sellers who choose to "Sell by Owner" may not have sufficient equity to pay Realtor fees and if that is the case, will the Buyer pay? Building community good will is important, and yes, I have helped a few "charity" cases. However time is money and trying to sell a "By Owner" property without a written commitment from either the Seller or the Buyer is a financially risky endeavor. Perhaps there are more productive uses for the Real Estate Professional's? time?
