"Flipping Out" star Jeff Lewis sues assistant for possible confidentiality breach

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Flipping Out" star Jeff Lewis wants his executive assistant Jenni Pulos to keep her trap shut.

The Bravo reality celebrity, who works as an interior designer and real estate agent, filed suit against Pulos, his co-star on the show, and her literary agents in Los Angeles County Superior Court, fearing that an upcoming book she is writing may paint a nasty picture of him.

He asked the judge for an injunction on the book, alleging that it may reveal "trade secrets and private information" about his personal life, according to court documents obtained Thursday by TheWrap.

"In her employment with Jeff for these many years, Jenni has become privy to both trade secrets and other confidential information relating to the operation of the plaintiff businesses as well as highly confidential personal and private information relating to Jeff's personal life and business dealings," the suit says.

Pulos signed a nondisclosure agreement with Lewis in 2008 and again in 2010. After learning last month that Pulos reached a deal with a publisher, Lewis searched the internet and found out the tentative title of her memoir: "Hang in There, Baby - What One of the World's Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work and Love."

Lewis claims that Pulos told him the content of the book was limited to her family and personal life, not her work life. When he demanded to see a copy of the book, the lawsuit said Pulos's agents instructed her to withhold the manuscript.

Pulos responded by saying the book hadn't yet been written.

But the hardcover, which has apparently deleted the "one of the world's most difficult bosses" part from the title, is now available for pre-sale on Amazon.

According to the suit filed on Wednesday, the defendants deny that the book's content breaches her contract.

And on Thursday morning, Pulos called her boss a bully on Twitter.

"Woke up this am, being sued by your boss is really putting on the Celebrity Cinderella Slipper," she tweeted. "Bullies Aren't Cool."

So far, Lewis's account remains silent.
